Want a sneak peak at Jamaican music trends in 2025? All you have to do is look at the very recent past where, RnB, ampiano and afrobeat are mixed with reggae and dancehall. Kingston's Marcelle Chérie has released a steady stream of singles in the past year that all crisscross genres and her latest, "When You're Ready", dropped in September. Produced by Isla, the song's groovy pop foundation amplified by RnB and reggae vibes puts a new spin on her previous work like "Tek Time" and her debut single "Inna Mi Vibes" produced by Yo Christon.
